Data Driven Gardening is in pre-launch. Right now the only personal information we collect is what you choose to give us when you sign up for updates.

What we collect

• Email address. Required to sign up.
• ZIP code. Optional, if you enter it.
• Signup time and country. The time you signed up and the country your request came from (as reported by our host). We don't store your IP address.

How we use it

• To email you about our launch and, if you stay subscribed, an occasional newsletter.
• To send local garden information for your ZIP code, if you gave one.
• To understand roughly where interest is coming from, so we know which areas to build first.

What we don't do

• We don't sell, rent or trade your information.
• We don't share your email with advertisers.

Hosting

The site and the signup list are hosted on Cloudflare (Workers and Workers KV). Cloudflare processes requests to deliver the site and may keep standard operational logs under its own privacy policy. We don't currently use analytics or tracking cookies.

Ads and affiliate links (future)

Once the full site launches, some pages may show ads and affiliate links (for example, to seeds or garden supplies). If you buy through an affiliate link, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links will be labeled. If we add ad or analytics providers that use cookies, we'll update this page first.

Unsubscribing and deleting your data

Every email we send will include a personal unsubscribe link. Using it deletes your record (email, ZIP, signup time and country) from our list right away. You can also email us and ask us to delete your information.
